Aeries for Students

To All SBUnified Students:

You now have access to email within our District’s G Suite (Google Apps). To access your email, go to mail.google.com or click the Mail icon within the G Suite app switcher in the upper-right of any Google app. Your username and password are the same as what you currently use to access Google Drive: [student ID]@my.sbunified.org for your username and whatever you set for your password.

You’ll need to access your email in order to access some other District systems, such as Aeries, our student information system. In a few days, you’ll receive an email in your District-provided email account with instructions for accessing Aeries. If you’ll be attending junior high or high school next year, it’s important that you set up your Aeries account now, as you’ll be using Aeries beginning in January to select your courses for the next school year. Watch for more information on the course selection process from your school. Please see our Aeries Portal FAQ (http://www.sbunified.org/departments/technology/aeries/parent-portal-frequently-asked-questions/) if you need assistance accessing Aeries.

In your District-provided email, you’ll have access to send messages to and receive messages from only District staff and other students; you won’t be able to correspond with people outside the District. Regardless, please remember to send only appropriate messages in your District-provided email. Teachers and administrators have access to see any messages you send using District resources.

If you need assistance with accessing your District-provided email, please see the staff member(s) at your school who support Google accounts (e.g., Google Drive).

The Marjorie Luke Theatere
It does not take more than a moment to realize that the soul of The Luke runs deep within the walls of its majestic, historic architecture. Built by skilled WPA artisans, dedicated to their crafts and completed in 1933, this theatre has a 75+ year history of music, dance and theatre. This legacy is infused with inspirational teaching by people who encouraged young people to take risks and explore their creative talents. In 1999 a groundswell of energy lead by parents, students, administrators and SBJHS alums began the process of bringing this historic theatre back to and beyond its original splendor.
